Watershed Consulting Associates prepared a retrofit stormwater system design to serve the St. Albans Park and Ride in St. Albans, Vermont for the State of Vermont Center for Clean & Clear.

To facilitate the design process Watershed Consulting Associates worked closely with the Vermont Agency of Transportation (VTRANS), the landowner and the Center for Clean and Clear.

A gravel wetland treatment system has been designed to provide superior pollutant removal and to reduce stormwater flows downstream in Stevens Brook, which is currently impaired due to stormwater runoff. Construction of the system was completed in June 2010.
